Light Project - Direct Light and Shadow

This is my second light picture of my sister Samantha, and I love how the shadows turned out.
Looks kinda creepy, but at the same time, the way she is smiling makes the image great :]

Portraits - Samantha Take Two

Her face is going to get stuck this way, trust me, I keep telling her.
She always makes this face at me, whether I say something sarcastic, or silly,
She always makes this face.

Light Project - Bright Direct Light

I especially like this image of my sister because I think she is just so beautiful and she looks like a classic movie actress :]

People say sometimes that my sisters and I (in the right situation)
Look a lot like Marion Davies.

Portraits - Samantha

Found myself a new light source, and a new subject who refused to put her soda down :]

My contact sheet came out a little bad because there was crap all over the glass press, I didn't realize this until I had already finished developing the contact sheet.
It IS hard to see in the dark room ya know...

Contact Sheet - Portraits of Addie

These pictures are of my big sister Addie. She's twenty one and she had real patience with me while I did this project with her. I had to re-do it about three times since my film wasn't turning out due to camera issues. But she was so natural and easy to photograph because she was comfortable. I really liked doing this project with her. And when my film finally came out, I was literally bouncing off the walls with happiness...as corny as that sounds :P

Rule of Thirds & Symmetry

For my sister's 20th birthday, we had a fruit tart and I thought it would make a great picture so I said "WAIT!" even though they had already started cutting into it. But I think the one blueberry and the glaze on top of the fruit makes it really unique :]

It's funny remembering that at the beginning of the semester Mr.Hohman said that once we started taking a lot of pictures and using our cameras more, that we'd look at things and think to ourselves "Oh, that would be a good picture, I wish I had my camera." And what's funny is, is that I think that way all the time, so now I'm always carrying a camera with me.

One Thing - Tom's Shoes at Ibach

This project was particularly difficult because I ruined my film about two times in the chemical process. But, I took the pictures one more time and it turned out that third time was the charm. My film (for the first time) came out perfectly and I'm happy that I can make out the label on the back of my shoes :]
